Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit, Michigan Client: [Demonstration Model]
The Great Hall and Rivera Court by famed Mexican muralist Diego Rivera
were the source material for our model to demonstrate how our
high-quality VR models can bring people up close to art and view
familiar places in a different way. The model lets you fly 10 or 20 feet
off of the ground and come within inches of portions of the mural or
hall that are difficult to see while standing on the floor. This model
shows interesting opportunities for interpretation and a method to
literally bring your museum to your audience.
Figge Art Museum, Davenport, Iowa Client: Davenport Museum of Art
This model was made as the museum building itself was being constructed.
The model with several surrounding blocks showed how the museum fit in
the context of the downtown area. We made it possible to move seamlessly
from the interior to exterior, flying through walls, and seeing the
outside views from inside gallery spaces, and inside the museum from the
exterior.
Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, D.C. Client: Smithsonian Institution
First we created a model of the museum building. Our innovative
Interactive
Art Gallery (patent pending) software then allowed curators to hang
paintings and place sculpture in a virtual model.
